Born in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, and graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University.

During university, studied filmmaking at UCLA Extension.

In 2019, the short film Fiction, shot in Los Angeles, won the Audience Award in the Short Film Category at the 30th Tokyo Student Film Festival. Another short film, Fried Egg, was selected for the Berlin Flash Film Festival.

In 2020, worked as a video director for the stage production 4.48 PSYCHOSIS (directed by Tomoko Kawaguchi) and was selected for Berlinale Talents Tokyo 2020, where the first feature film project KANAKO received a Special Mention.

In 2024, The House with Nobody won the Excellence Award at the 38th Image Forum Festival and was selected for CINEMOVEMENT LAB VII TOKYO.
