Miku Kitagawa

Born in Ishikawa, Japan.
Miku Kitagawa is a Japanese film director based in Tokyo.
She attended Tokyo Gakugei University in Expressive Communication, graduated from UCLA Extension in Entertainment Studies.
Her short film, “Fiction” won the Audience Award from The 30th Tokyo Student Film Festival, and “Fried Egg” received Honorable Mention from Berlin Flash Film Festival 2019.
Most recently, she participated in the Berlinale Talents Tokyo 2020 workshop, and won the Special Mention with her first feature project (work-in-progress), "KANAKO".
